Before his keynote address that evening, Richard Louv will lead an intimate and interactive workshop. The workshop will focus on adults interested in engaging children in community-based outdoor learning, using ideas and activities from his book Vitamin N: The Essential Guide to a Nature-Rich Life.

The Pacific Education Institute invites you to get up close and personal with New York Times bestselling author of Last Child in the Woods and The Nature Principal, Richard Louv. Creator of the term “nature-deficit disorder,” Louv will speak to the importance of nature for the health and well-being of both our children and our world. He will also be available for questions and to sign his books.
