2012 Activities and Events
Everyone is welcome to attend these events. Foundation sponsored “Activities & Events” are fun field experiences for you to learn something new with like-minded enthusiasts. These experiences are open to all, you don’t have to be a Foundation member, Master Gardener/Master Recycler Composter volunteer or even live within the county to attend. One of the perks though is Foundation members receive reduced rates for attending these events. Trip details, how to register and costs will be provided later. In the mean time mark your calendars for these dates and watch for more to come.March 10th 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm Propagation Workshop and Private Garden Tour Nancy Mills will provide a hands on workshop on how to increase the quantity and health of your plants by various propagation methods. She also will conduct a tour of her garden, featured in a previous Garden Rhapsodies tour. This is a good time of the year to appreciate the structure of this garden and see how Nancy deals with a shady garden setting below a forest canopy. At the end of the day you will be able to take home some plants from her garden.
