Get ready for winter!

We invite you to come and learn how to turn your yard waste and food scraps into a rich soil amendment for your gardens. At the workshop you will learn:
•What type of yard waste is best for home composting
•Determine if a compost bin is needed and if so, what type will work best for you
•How to monitor and troubleshoot the yard waste composting process
•Tips on applying yard waste compost for a healthy, beautiful yard.

No pre-registration needed. Meet at the gazebo inside the garden. Please dress for the weather as this workshop will be outside. Bring garden gloves if you want to participate in the “hands-on” portion of the workshop.

Join us for a day filled with gardening, composting, recycling fun and information via workshops and hands-on demonstrations. Select plants, upcycled garden art, and handi-crafts will also be for sale. Refreshments will be served.

Admission: $5 per person (cash or check only, no credit cards please)
No pre-registration but space is limited to room capacity. Seats are filled on a first come, first served basis.
