Starting at 10am, Pat Bergford will lead us on a one-hour tour of her beautiful 5 acre farm and garden here in Olympia, after which we will have time to explore on our own. You are also invited to bring your lunch and picnic by the pond, or dine with Tilly the tortoise afterward.

This enchanting 100 year old Homestead and Garden consists of several garden rooms carefully curated with many rare plants, as well as old favorites. The heart of the gardens is the large collection of roses, ranging from “old world” varieties to David Austins to extremely hardy shiny leaved floribundas. Dahlias have become another passion with a prominent cutting garden solely dedicated to them. In addition, there are many unusual hydrangeas and an amazing variety of perennials spilling over through the arboretum garden to a large pond (featuring water lilies and an incredible huge fountain) nestled near our forest garden.
